Reliable concrete performance begins with thorough and accurate testing. At Rock Form, we offer a comprehensive range of concrete testing services, both on-site and in the laboratory, to ensure that concrete meets design strength, durability, and performance specifications.
Our services include:
Fresh Concrete Testing
We conduct slump tests to assess workability, along with temperature and sampling checks during concrete pouring. These tests help monitor consistency and ensure that the mix adheres to specification before placement.
Hardened Concrete Testing – Cube Samples
Concrete cubes are cast on site under controlled conditions, then cured and crushed at set intervals (typically 7, 14, or 28 days) to determine compressive strength. This is the standard method for confirming that the delivered concrete achieves its designed structural capacity.
Hardened Concrete Testing – Cored Cylinders
In existing structures or during quality assurance inspections, cylindrical cores are extracted from hardened concrete using precision coring equipment. These samples are then tested in the lab to evaluate in-situ compressive strength, density, and uniformity. Cored testing is especially useful when verifying structural integrity after construction or for assessing older concrete works.
All our testing procedures are carried out in line with recognized standards and best practices, using calibrated equipment and detailed reporting. Whether you’re pouring new slabs or verifying existing works, our concrete testing services provide the critical data needed for safe, compliant, and efficient construction.
